Day time; night time. Wake time; dream time. This clash of light and dark make the images all the more wierd - and yet so wierdly fantastical that Victoria claims it as one of her favourite rugs. She used the contrast out of necessity when she realised her colours had run out. "The tree grew right into the night.." she laughs.
